1.These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to all Competitions on the website, unless otherwise indicated. Any additional terms specific to a particular Competition will be displayed on page for a specific competition and will be incorporated in these Terms. If there is any discrepancy between these terms and conditions and those specific to a particular Competition, the specific terms prevail. By entering a Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.

2.All Competitions are organized by Amy Moss, 22 Mardol, Shrewsbury, SY1 1PU (“MovieWriting”).

3.Competitions are available residents worldwide and are not available to employees or contractors of MovieWriting or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of a Competition, or their families. Persons resident in a country or jurisdiction outside the UK where a Competition may breach any law or regulation may not enter. One entry per person per Competition.

5.For each Competition, a winner will be chosen at random from all submissions from qualifying entrants and will be notified by email within 30 days of the closing date. Within 6 weeks of that notification, the prize will be posted to the winner at the provided postal address. Prizes can be posted to UK addresses only.

6.The prize will be as shown on the Competition page. The prize is non-transferable and there will be no cash alternatives. Movie Writing reserves the right to alter the advertised prize in circumstances out of our control but the alternative prize will be of an equal or greater value.

7.Movie Writing does not accept responsibility for late, lost, damaged or corrupted entries.

8.Proof of sending is not proof of receipt by Movie Writing. Proof of posting or emailing cannot be accepted as proof of delivery. Movie Writing cannot accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of server functions, technical issues, virus, bugs or other causes outside Movie Writing’s control.

9.Movie Writing reserves the right to cancel or amend any Competition or the Terms without notice in the event of any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside Movie Writing’s reasonable control. Any changes will be posted. If there is any dispute regarding the Terms, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a Competition, the decision of Movie Writing shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
