Drive Review
A couple of months ago, Fan of the Month Sam asked for me to review Drive. One of my favourite films of 2011 despite only seeing it this year, it was every bit as enjoyable on the re-watch.
The Possession Review
With the Hallowe’en holiday season almost upon us, there are a number predictably poor films in keeping with the festivities. Despite the promising advertising, producer Sam Rami’s The Possession is pretty bad. Not as bad as The Devil Inside though, thankfully.
Lawless Review
Advertised as a testosterone-filled “boys” film; Lawless was the biggest surprise of 2012.
The Watch Review

Dredd 3D Review
The latest comic book adaptation to hit cinemas is Pete Travis’ Dredd 3D. Not even Bill Weasley stands a chance of the limelight with Karl Urban, an actor so talented his snarl has more screen presence than most contemporary actors entire faces, blowing everyone out of the water as Judge.
The Wedding Video Review
Not the best, but not the worst, film I’ve seen at the cinema recently; The Wedding Video is fine for a Sunday afternoon. Watched any other day of the week may result in some serious disappointment.

Here is the much anticipated Episode 13 of Movie Talking which is available on iTunes and SoundCloud. In this edition we delve deep into the book; 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die and each pick a film we haven’t seen to see if it deserves it’s high acclaim.
Take this Waltz Review
Indie dramas about romance aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but Take This Waltz certainly swept me off my feet. Although one particular member of the Movie Talking team wasn’t won over.
